Working through the ever-changing world of information about what is good and not good to eat can be confusing. I think a lot of people just give up because of the overload. Then they decide to eat anything out of frustration and that leads to the weight problems that we see in the news. Maybe a better way to promote healthy eating is just "a little of everything." That pretty much sums it up. It's nice to know that "research shows" any number of things, but it does change frequently.

Nutrition is a science, but not an exact one. It is constantly evolving and that makes it confusing and frustrating at times. So for some food for thought- eat what you enjoy while keeping in mind moderation, variety and portion control. Also, physical activity is so important too.
